We treat kyphosis in a complete manner. With the help of modern diagnostics, we will determine the cause and extent of the hump in your upper back very accurately. This individualized method enables us to come up with a plan for curing it that suits you best. The treatment may involve such things as physical therapy aimed at correcting one’s posture or ergonomics adjustments which should be made depending on how you sit at work but if necessary we can also conduct less complicated surgeries directed towards dealing with its root.

We are committed to make you so strong that not only the kyphosis pain, but also your general health and well-being could be improved. You and I will team up to create a personalized plan that centers on pain management, better posture and the muscle strengthening of your spine supporter. Don’t let kyphosis stop you from performing your daily activities. Contact Srikanth Spine Center in Guntur and start off confident and pain-free tomorrow.

What is kyphosis?

yphosis is a condition where your spine curves outward more than it should. This causes your upper back around the thoracic region (the part of your spine between your neck and ribs) to bend forward. The curvature can make it look like you’re hunched over or slouching. People sometimes call it “hunchback” or “roundback.”

Your spine has natural curves. These curves support your posture and help you stand straight. But excessive curvature can affect your body and make standing difficult.

What are the symptoms of kyphosis?

  • Rounded shoulders.

  • A curve or hump in your upper back.

  • Tight hamstrings (muscles in the back of your thighs).

What causes kyphosis?

The cause of kyphosis varies depending on the type but could include:

  • Poor posture.

  • Structural abnormalities of the bones in your spine.

  • Bone growth abnormalities (shape of the bone).

  • Spinal injury.

  • Your age.
