He pursued FNB in Spine Surgery from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, followed by advanced training in spine surgery, including an IASA Spine Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai, USA, Fellowship in Deformity Correction at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and Clinical Consultation in Endoscopic Spine Surgery at St. Anna Hospital, Herne, Germany.

His research on Scoliosis earned him two gold medals .He is the first Spine surgeon to be trained in treatment of complex spinal deformities (Scoliosis and Kyphosis ) from Cedars Senai Institute ,Los angeles ,USA. He is also the youngest Spine Surgeon to succesfully complete 25 scoliosis deformity surgeries in Andhra pradesh within a short span.
